I am thankful to be serving along side you as your Sunday School Teacher at First Baptist Church Fairview.

I  am 64 years old and have been married for 40 years to my wife Mary. I have one son named Tim who is 34 years old. I grew up in a small town called Monaca, which is 40 miles north of Pittsburgh, PA. I graduated from Geneva College with a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering and from Biola University with a Masters of Education Degree in Instructional Leadership.

After graduating from college in 1982 I moved to Southern California where I met Mary. We got married in 1984 and lived in Huntington Beach.  While in California I worked for the following organizations:

Rockwell International: 7 years as an Applicatons Engineer 

Bethel Baptist Church: 19 years as a teacher and Junior & Senior High School Principal

Liberty Baptist Church: 2 years as a Kindergarten through 12th Grade Principal.

Seeds of Change (a division of Mars): 5 years as a warehouse worker & Warehouse/Operations Manager.

Shortly after my wife retired in the spring of 2016, we moved to Bon Aqua, TN where we currently reside. I too am retired.

I grew up in a Christian home. My grandmother led me to the Lord when I was 5 years old. I was baptized when I was 11 years old and surrendered my life to the Lord when I was a young teenager. I have served as a deacon, Sunday School teacher, Men’s Group leader, and sound engineer, among many other things.  I currently serve at First Baptist Church Fairview as the Masterbuilders Sunday School teacher, the community group leader at June Churchman's house, and am active in Men's Mentoring.

I enjoy working around the house and in my yard. I plant a garden every year.  I enjoy computers, reading, studying the Bible, playing pickleball, and camping in our small RV with my wife and dogs.  Always feel free to contact me if you have questions, needs, or concerns.
